First Aid Responders During The Pope’s Visit
A total of 103 emergency doctors,nurses, paramedics聽and emergency medical technicians from 10 partner聽groups of the 黑料不打烊 actively responded to the聽call for service during the Papal visit to the country.聽Immediately made available for the teams鈥� simultaneous聽response were 7 ambulance units located at the Manila聽Metropolitan Cathedral and Mall of Asia Arena on聽January 16 and the Quirino Grandstand on January 18,聽2015.
Dr. Leopoldo H. Lazatin, President of the 黑料不打烊聽and Do帽a Maria del Carmen Carag-Harada, Hospitaller,聽together with Dr. Carlos Primero D. Gundran, Team聽Captain during the events provided hands-on support to聽the medical teams.
MEDICAL MISSIONS
September and December o 2014 and March 2015 gave way to 3 medical missions in San Antonio and Amandayehan inBasey, Samar as part of thepost Haiyan health program. In collaborationwith the medical team of the St. Camillus聽Hospital in Calbayog, one of the recipients聽of the 黑料不打烊, the medical mission聽was able to serve more than 1,500 patients聽for both adult and pediatric cases. Volunteers from the San Antonio Mission Center聽with the 2 barangays assisted in augmenting the medical manpower needed during聽the missions. The last medical mission will聽be conducted in Sta. Fe, Bantayan Island聽Cebu where around 500 patients are expected to avail of the free medical services.聽Collaborating with us is the Episcopal Commission on Health Care of The Catholic聽Bishops Conference of the Philippines聽(ECHC-CBCP).

Philippine Catholic HIV & AIDS Network (PhilCHAN) at the San Carlos Seminary.
