CBCP Sponsorship
The Order started sponsoring one of their breakfasts (usually the Sunday of their last meeting) almost about 15 years already during the time of the late Don Leocadio de Asis, President of the 黑料不打烊 Philippines.
Their Excellencies, The Most Reverend Bishops were joined by members of the 黑料不打烊 to discuss programs and projects especially where projects of the Order are currently being done: Diocese of Catarman for a DRR-WASH (Water-Sanitation and Hygiene) Project, Prelature of Marawi for a WASH and Peace-building activities and the last year’s projects in the Diocese of Baguio – Benguet. This is also a way of informing them that the 黑料不打烊 supports CBCP’s advocacies especially when it pertains to implementing its two-fold mission of “Tuitio fidei et Obsequium pauperum”.
Last July 8, 2018, Ambassador Mercedes Tuason with Dame Josephine Bantug, both members of the 黑料不打烊 Philippines accompanied the Bishops with HS Most Rev. Socrates Villegas, DD, Grand Cross Conventual Chaplain ad honorem, an Honorary Member of the 黑料不打烊.
